Welcome to RecordHouse, a personal music library and sharing application (the “App”) developed and maintained by Sahil Srivastava ("us", "we", or "our").

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the App. Your access to and use of the App is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the App.

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the App.

User Registration

​

To use certain features of the App, you may be required to register and provide certain information, including a username and email. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and keep your account information updated.

User Obligations

​

As a user, you agree not to misuse the App or help anyone else to do so. You agree not to do any of the following actions while using RecordHouse:

​

a. Attempt to export or otherwise duplicate or redistribute any audio content shared with you through the App, unless explicitly authorized by the sender.

b. Share any audio content for which you do not own the rights or have the necessary permissions from the rights holder.

c. Use the App for any illegal activities or to violate any applicable laws.

Content

​

We do not claim ownership of any audio content shared through the App. By sharing audio content through the App, you confirm that you have all necessary rights to such content and that you’re not infringing or violating any third party’s rights by posting it.

Subscription Plans

​

RecordHouse offers several subscription plans, including Basic (free), Standard, and Premium. These plans determine the amount of audio data you can send through the App.

​

a. Basic Plan (Free): This plan allows you to share around 10 records (30MB total) with anyone. All users are automatically opted in to this plan for free upon username registration. The basic plan is free but also maintains a daily share limit of 2 records a day.

​

b. Standard Plan (Paid): This plan allows you to share around 150 records (450MB total) with anyone. This is our cheapest paid plan at $1.19 monthly. There is no daily share limit associated with this plan.

c. Premium Plan (Paid): This premium plan allows you to share around 500 songs (1.5GB total) with anyone. This is our pro offering at $3.09 monthly. There is no daily share limit associated with this plan.

Upgrades and Downgrades:

• When upgrading from one plan to another, a new billing cycle commences immediately. The benefits of the upgraded subscription plan are applied immediately upon successful payment, with no interruption to your existing shared records or other plan offerings. Any previously active subscription will be refunded for the prorated amount of the original subscription price.

• When downgrading, the existing subscription continues until the next renewal date. At this time, the subscription will either be renewed at the downgraded subscription price or terminated entirely if downgrading to the basic plan. Any downgrade from any plan will unshare all previously shared records after the subscription is downgraded at the next renewal date, requiring the user to share records again according to their new plan's limitations.

Billing Issues:

In the event of any billing issues with one of our paid plans, we will maintain access to your subscription for a grace period. Your current plan’s offerings will remain active until your billing issue is resolved with your Apple account. If the billing issue is corrected within the grace period, your subscription will continue with no change to your current plan’s offerings. If not resolved, your subscription will be terminated after the grace period expires and downgraded to our free basic plan.

Privacy

We collect certain data necessary to facilitate audio sharing and improve the App. Our use of data is outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Termination

​

We may terminate or suspend access to our App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You can also delete your account at any time.

Limitation of Liability

​

RecordHouse Inc., its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, shall not be liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, economic loss, loss or damage to electronic media or data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the App.

Changes

​

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page.

By continuing to access or use our App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the App.
